His inspiring and meticulous work has resulted in writing over 40 books in various Medical, Pharmacy and Nursing subjects. Hard work, sincerity, consistency and Dedication have always been the driving factors for this eminent scholar.

He is presently an Emeritus Professor at Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai. With over 50 years of Teaching experience as a Professor in Madurai Medical college and in a few other dental colleges, hence serving the student community with his immense knowledge, he has to his credit, 100 research publications and has presented more than 100's of research papers in various international and national conferences. He has been honored by Indian Pharmacological Society with two prestigious awards.

He has guided numerous students to attain their Ph.D. degree. Regardless of his own work, he has motivated many other authors on the related fields to partner up and work, hence present more educational textbooks for the emerging medical, paramedical professionals and students.
